Our Conservation Ecology Program focuses on four key research areas: (1) songbird population dynamics, (2) monarch butterfly overwintering dynamics, (3) bird collisions and electrocutions; and (4) the impact of Sudden Oak Death on native systems.  Our research projects are primarily funded through grants and contracts and additionally through foundations and memberships.
